Borrowing from this long-standing family tradition, khW Heirloom creates one-of-a-kind handmade bonnets from vintage handkerchiefs that are used for the baby's trip home from the hospital and again, many years later, on his or her wedding day.

//Each one-of-a-kind handkerchief is transformed into a bonnet with only a few stitches, so only a couple of snips will produce a 'something old' wedding hanky. Alternatively, khW Heirloom offers vintage handkerchiefs as a gift for the bride. After her wedding day, khW will make it into a bonnet for her first child.

//Vintage 100% linen and cotton handkerchiefs are carefully chosen for refined details such as hand-tatted lace or hand-rolled edges. Each piece is laundered and ironed then hand-sewn with organic cotton thread and 100% silk ribbon. khW creates bonnets distinctly for baby girls and boys, as well as unisex versions.
